When is the best time to visit?
This tour is available every day except on Tuesday (the Museum is closed). Please note that the Museum is the most crowded during weekends and in the mornings. Lunch time and afternoons tend to be less busy, but we cannot guarantee.
Where do we meet our guide?
The meeting point of your Louvre Private Tour is at Louvre Museum directly. The exact location is found on the ticket you receive after confirmation.
Other options available: We can organize a pick up & drop off at your hotel with one of our premium car or mini van (Mercedes or equivalent).
Can I stay in the Museum after the tour?
Your private tour ticket allows you to stay in the museum until closing time. Enjoy your free time thanks to your guide’s special tips!
Can you store my luggage during the tour?
You can store your luggage in the vehicle if you reserve full disposal transportation during check out. The vehicle and chauffeur are exclusively yours for the duration of your visit.
How far in advance should we book the Louvre Private Tour?
This tour is available every day except on Tuesday (the museum is closed).
- The Museum sells a limited number of tickets with direct access to professional travel agencies ONLY. These sell out very quickly. During the high season (April-August), we advise you to book 6 weeks in advance, if it’s possible. Otherwise, please try to book an afternoon tour when the museum is less busy.
- If it’s possible, please provide us with alternative dates and times.
Additional Information
Accessibility: If you use a wheelchair or other mobility aid, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary preparations.
Lunch Inclusion: This visit is only 2 and a half hours, so no time for lunch is included.
Pick up outside of Paris: If you need us to meet you outside of Paris (e.g., at the main international airport or any location outside the Périphérique), please contact us before booking to confirm the rate.
Louvre Strikes & Exceptional Circumstances
We would like to inform our guests that the Louvre Museum is currently affected by ongoing strike actions, with the possibility of additional strike days announced at short notice.
On certain mornings, the museum’s opening may be delayed pending confirmation from staff. In these cases, if you are booked for a morning tour, we may adjust the start time and ask you to wait while we monitor the situation.
Our policy in this circumstance is simple:
If the Louvre remains closed, you will receive a full refund.
If the Louvre opens (even later than planned), your tour will take place.
We understand that this may create some uncertainty, and we truly appreciate your patience and flexibility during this exceptional and unprecedented period. If you have any questions, please contact us.
